The one thing we’ve got

As I’m a creature of habit, I probably don’t have to introduce you to Yaelle. She’s one of the few girls I like to call ‘muses’. Our shoots together are mostly rather impromptu since she lives abroad and we just make a habit out of meeting whenever she’s in the country. We decided to keep our latest shoot very simple and relaxed, just shooting inside the apartment and seeing what inspiration brought us.

Times like these and times like those

The first shoot of the year was arranged on the spur of the moment. It was January, I had been on a shoot break for over a month, and they were predicting snow for the weekend. I for one, had never done a proper shoot in the snow, and I had this new old camera that happened to scream for attention, so out of the blue I texted Charlotte and Kathleen if they were up for a snow shoot, and they were! It was our tenth time shooting together and we froze our asses off (especially Charlotte who was such a trooper), but it was so much fun. Since we’ve worked together so many times already, there’s this easiness and relaxedness which just adds to the whole experience. Hopefully there will be plenty more shoots with this team to follow!

Let it all soak right through

Hello blog and blog readers! Long time no see. I have several things I want to share with you, guess I’ll just work my way back by posting some photos of my latest shoot, one with Mandy in the woods. It was the first time I knowingly used slide film (I used it once before by accident in the beginning of my film adventure), and I must say I am really pleased with it! The colors came out beautiful and they were so much easier to scan than the negative film. I will probably start using it much much more.
